So, just to give everyone a little sneak peek at the ELF review to come in the near future, I wanted to post a list of the products that I've ordered. In fact, that should be arriving tomorrow! I'm super excited to try them out and to let everyone know how they work. I do want to say, though, sometimes products that don't work out for one person, end up being really great for someone else. I do my best to give straight forward info in my reviews, but when it comes down to it, it's my opinion of the product. So even if I give something a bad review, if you really want to try it, go for it. And if I give something a great review, and you try it and end up hating it, please don't hate on me! Anyway, here's a little peek at the products I'll be trying over the next week or so, with a review to follow shortly after.
- Make-up mist and set. This product is sprayed on after you apply your make-up, and it is supposed to seal your make-up and keep it lasting all day.
- Wet gloss lash and brow clear mascara. This product can be used in a couple different ways: on your brows, to give them a nice finish and help keep them in line and cleanly styles. And on your lashes for a glossy wet look.
- Eye make-up remover pads. I've actually used these before and I loved them. So I'm trying them again. They're pretty self-explanatory. They're used to remove eye make-up.
- All over cover stick (in the color Ivory). I'm very fair skinned, so my biggest concern is that even the lightest color of this product might be too dark. Secondly, I hope for good coverage with smooth application that stays smooth all day, without cakiness or flakiness. The purpose of a cover stick is to help cover blemishes and imperfections. Using a foundation helps with additional coverage and smoothing out your skin tone.
- Eye lid primer. This is another step in making sure your make-up stays where you put it and lasts all day without creasing. They had a couple color options, and I chose "nude".
- Shimmering facial whip in "persimmon". This color is a pretty, deep pink. I'm hoping it will be similar to maybelline's mousse blush, which also has a shimmer, and I absolutely adore it. I also purchased this product in "pink lemonade" for my sister, which is a bit of a lighter pink shade.
- Therapeutic conditioning lip balm in "strawberry creme". This is supposed to condition your lips, making them nice and soft. I don't think they are supposed to add any color. I also bought this in "vanilla creme" for my sis.
- Stipple brush. This type of brush is used to apply facial products with a technique called stippling. It is supposed to have a nicer finish similar to airbrushing. I'll likely do a tutorial on this method sometime.
- My sister purchased a contouring blush and bronzing powder set to try. It's suppose to be a dupe of a high end product, but for the life of me, I can't remember which product! I'll update when I figure it out.
I hope you all tune in to the next video!
