Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm updated review

As I mentioned in my last post about Baby Lips, I need to correct a previous review I did about Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pomegranate oil. I first tried this back in the summer when my sister bought a tube for us to try. Yes, we shared it. But not for long because she tried it and said she didn't really care for it and gave it to me. It was a while before I tried it, but when I did, I could see what she meant. It didn't feel moisturizing at all, nor did it feel like it was very smooth. The scent was also seriously lacking.

However, I think the tube that my sister had purchased must have either been an old tube that had been on the shelf for a long time or have been defective somehow. Because for Christmas as a stocking stuffer, my wonderful fiance, Patrick, bought me a tube of the same kind. I tried it again and really like it! This time, it's like a totally different product than the tube I tried during summer. It's moisturizing and smooth, it glides on well, and the scent is unique and pleasant. I actually find the scent strangely comforting, but that's just me. The real point here is that my previous opinion of the product has changed. Clearly there was something not right about the first tube, and I'm glad my fiance gave me the chance to try it again and learn the truth: just like many other Burt's Bees products, this lip balm is a keeper!
